Associate Deans

Dr. Albert can advise students with information about admissions.
Dr. Alseidi sees students with questions about the student assessment program and the MSPE.

​​​​Christina serves as the administrative dean for medical education and can assist students and faculty with information about staff functions, budgets, learning and development, and operations.

Dr. Hung sees students with questions about student life, issues related to the learning environment including mistreatment, DEI initiatives, medical student wellbeing and mental health, academic support, disabilities and accommodations, leaves of absence, professional development, and career advising and exploration.

 

Co-Interim Associate Deans for Curriculum

Dr. Sewell oversees the Foundations 1 Curriculum and serve as Chair of the Executive Curriculum Committee.
Dr. Roman oversees both the Foundations 2 and Career Launch Curricula, with a special focus on Career Launch, Physician Identity (PI) Weeks, and the Anti-Oppression Curriculum Initiative (AOCI).

Anna Chang, MD Profile
Dr. Chang oversees the longitudinal programs within the Bridges Curriculum. These include the Coaching Program, Community Engagement, and the Clinical Microsystem Clerkship. She will also be the dean liaison for our joint degree programs and the PRIME-US and SJV PRIME and SJV PRIME+ parallel tracks.

Dr. Hauer supervises a talented team of associate deans and directors who collectively oversee Admissions, Student Experience, Curriculum, Assessment and Professional Standards, Medical Education Administration, Regional Campuses, Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Program Evaluation, Faculty Development and Research, and the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators.
